Pat and Teresa- Thanks so much for a wonderful week as always! I enjoyed seeing everyone again and yachting with you! Michael and Tara had so much fun this year tubing and playing with new friends. As I walked along the resort last week and found out that Sue Olive passed away recently, I was flooded with an array of memories. If you've been coming to Breezy Point as long as I have (36 years) then you may remember: Bud and Skipper (cats), Beezer (Sue and Ken Olive's dog), DogWood resort (especially Cabin 13), Jan's golf cart, the Jenny Lee, Hungry and Ferocious chasing each other down by the office, Blackie Boy, Cindi (Pooh Bear) diving for rocks in the water, shooting off fireworks from the beach from glass bottles out of the vending machine by the old gameroom, shuffleboard (shooting the puck too hard and into the water), playing volleyball in the road by cabin 4 and the office, incredible thunderstorms, being on the lake around the 4th of July in a sweatshirt, staying next to Patrick Emory (CNN News anchor) and meeting his two sons and playing with them, the old Charlie's Supermarket, Thriftway, Ballentine's (when they had electricity), Rocky Top Ridge Go Karts, Tanya (cat), parasailing by Ken Olive's son from the resort, my dad fishing off the boat dock until 2:00 a.m. with a lantern, catching crickets for bait when I was 2 or 3, ice cold Coke or Sunkist in glass bottles from the vending machine, Eskimo Pies from the office, fresh minnows by the game room, the game room over at DogWood resort, and on and on...I will be sending some old pictures soon- perhaps you can create a special historic section for the website for all of us "old-timers" who cherish Breezy Point so much. Thanks again for being such great hosts and good friends! We shall return in 51 weeks, 13 days- but who's counting?

Enjoyed our stay! Great views of the lake! We'll be back in Oct w/another couple! We viewed a couple of other resorts while we were there and must say, they just didn't seem to measure up! One was too far from the Lake. If you are not ON the Lake......what is the point????? We hope to make this a twice a year 'spot' for us! Thanks, Dianne & Gary Graham

Ola Patrcio and Tereza By now your Hawaian wedding and honeymoon must be over. We hope everything went perfectly for you. I am sure it did. We enjoyed getting to know you on vacation - it was fun. Trouble is it didn't last long enough. We came home to the worst ice storm in 20 years and now we are getting flooding. At least it is getting to be a little warmer now. Well congratulations on your wedding - hope you have a great year with your resort. JZ & TZ

Pat & Teresa, Thanks for the great week again! You guys somehow managed to accommodate the craziness of the Ritz/Beck/Cecena/Nagle family trip, and kept smiles on your faces, through it all! Seven cabins, three boats, a wave-runner, bunches of fishermen/fisherwomen, guests galore swooping in on you. Two big fish-fries (we caught over 200 fish this year!), afternoon "floats" & happy hours on the patio, and of course the fishing tournament draft night and awards ceremony. All great events from the week. Teresa, since you've been added to the "staff", things are even running smoother! Can't wait to see you next year!

I enjoyed seeing everyone and look forward to the wedding pictures and the online webcam!

My parents, my sister and I would meet our grandparents at Breezy Point every summer and share a cabin when I was a child (I'm now a 48 year old Grandma!). I learned to swim at Breezy Point. Suffice it to say, I have very fond memories of Breezy Point. I hope to return with my family and grandchildren soon.

What can we say except to summarize as to yet another fantastic time at Breezy Point Resort. If Pat and Teresa allow us, we hope to be building upon a long standing tradition. There were seven of us with five ages in between 11-20. Nothing was more serene than the early sunrise and late sunset as seen from Breezy Point. We adults found it quiet and relaxing and the others in our group always found more than enough to occupy their time. Any needed items were within short drive or were made available by Pat and Teresa. One of the best aspects was the treatment we received. We were made to feel at home and more importantly, welcome. We are planning for next year for yet another remarkable time to a quiet, peaceful, relaxing piece of “heaven on earth”. Pat, Teresa…thank you so much for the wonderful time we were allowed.

Dear Patrick and Teresa, (and anyone planning a trip to Breezy Point) Carrie and I cannot thank you both enough for a wonderful week we had from July 14th -21st. Put simply, everything was just perfect. This was our first trip to Breezy Point and we did not know what to expect. The website is very informative but does not due your resort enough credit. We were a little late in arriving due to a long trip(8plus hours) from Rockford and some boat tarp trouble on the way down. With my two girls(16 and 14) each having friends with them you can imagine how tired we were when we arrived. It was after the office had closed and Carrie and I wondered if we were to late. Well, it was not 5 minutes later and you found us and gave us a warm welcome. My boat was in the water at the dock in 15 minutes and we were unpacked and having our first cocktail (much needed) in 1/2 an hr. Not familiar with the area we asked your opinion for a quick-close place for a bite and you recommended Tres-Hombres......just fantastic. Anyone thinking of going don't be fooled by the appearance. It is outstanding Mexican food with big portions and very good prices. What a great start to our vacation. Everyday was paradise, you both were there anytime we needed anything. You take care of all the details and I mean all!!! Even when our Tube needed air......of-course you had that covered with a compressor! What a great atmosphere of people on the resort. Met Perry and Erin from KC and his brother and his parents....yes...all there during this week.....what great people. The family environment is an understatement. Cottage was perfect, every need accommodated. Location could not be any better. We ski'd on calm waters, and could boat around comfortably in our 21footer. Our girls had a great time! I also need to mention that the wireless Internet worked perfectly!! I, as a small business owner, need to stay connected with email and your wireless worked perfectly (Thanks Teresa for your Monday maintenance :) ). Having the grocery store only 5 minutes away was fantastic (and I mean only 5 minutes!) Many a morning I would wake up early and run to the grocery for items and be back b4 all my girls were even up. I'm sure I did not mention everything but I will close by just saying "ThankYou!!!!" so very much for everything. We will be back next year...maybe twice! Paul n Carrie

Hi Pat! Jen, the kids, and I are looking forward to seeing you again on Aug 5th. Just spoke to Brother-in-law Dan G ... he has Ted's boat at his place and is giving it a good cleaning. Ted and Ginger leave this Sat to see you. I emailed you some video and pics of Jen's little brother -- graduated from Marquette Univ ... and got to ski behind the Lake Express Ferry Jet Boat on Lake Michigan in April 2006 with the Marquette Univ Ski Team -- The lake express company was doing a promo on it -- pretty cool -- (literally)! I am sure that it will be much warmer in August at the Zarks than at Lake Mich in April. Otherwise ... we get our money back ... right? You still have that money back guarantee on the weather don't you? :-) See you soon. -- Scott B
